Jakob Juul's artwork / elephant “Vespera Amabel” is offered as part of a charity auction organised by the Danish Mental Health Foundation (Psykiatrifonden) in connection with Elefanten i Rummet, the Foundation’s annual charity dinner.

The auction is held as part of a larger charity event including a formal dinner, concerts, and live entertainment. The evening takes place with the participation of Her Majesty The Queen.


Bidding process
It is possible to place bids online in advance of the charity dinner. Online bidding is open until midnight on 24 February.

The highest online bid will then be transferred to the live auction, which takes place during the charity dinner on the evening of 25 February.

If a maximum bid has been submitted online, a representative from Psykiatrifonden will continue bidding on behalf of the bidder during the live auction.

If the bid is successful, the buyer will be contacted the same evening.


Outbid notifications
If an online bid is outbid, the bidder will receive an email notification with the updated highest bid and will have the opportunity to increase their bid before the online auction closes.


Collection and delivery
Delivery is not included in the hammer price. If delivery is required, Psykiatrifonden can, by prior agreement, assist in obtaining and forwarding a shipping quotation.
